About the Site
My name is Paul and this is the third or fourth attempt I have made at a substance abuse treatment related website. I am an addictions counselor and am in recovery and have a fair amount of information I can share.
My hope however is that other people with similar, or even divergent points of view will be willing to join me in this collaboration.
With the state of public funding for substance abuse treatment being what it in the U.S., I think any effective treatment tools we can share with each other would be a boon. So we will be maintaining a download area with treatment materials and tools to assist counselors and therapists in providing quality treatment when budgets are limited.
The news feed that updates here daily is from 3 or 4 resources and the title links will take you to the full article. Any articles written or contributed by forum members are listed under the “Catagories” heading.
There are links to other sites with support, information, tools and whatever else we think might be of help.
